Taco Week & Margarita Madness in Calgary & Edmonton
Taco Week/Margarita Madness originated in Winnipeg in 2021 and has been a huge success as we've helped raise over $25K for local charities. This year we are rolling out the party to Calgary, Vancouver and Edmonton and are excited for you to join us!
The date of this event is from May 31 - June 9th, 2024.
If you choose to register, Restaurants and Lounges can expect:
Your establishment’s name and delicious creations will reach a larger audience via our social media platforms (IG/FB/Tik Tok etc). We are doing paid promotions throughout the month leading up to the event as well as during the week of to push brand awareness for all our restaurants involved.
You will have opportunities to collaborate with content creators in your community, which we will be supporting in organizing on our end. If you'd like to get your own content creators involved, we support this initiative too!
The potential for radio/other local advertisement exposure for your Taco and Margarita dishes. Currently, we have CTV and Virgin Radio getting involved. We will also be looking into digital media outlets such as the Daily Hive and others.
You will receive Taco week and Margarita Madness Branded Marketing Materials for your specific city so that you can promote on your digital platforms with ease.
Taco Week will be running a Fan vote for Best Taco and Best Margarita in Calgary during the ten day event and the winner will receive a fantastic prize (Stay tuned for those details).
Registration Details:
There is an Enrollment Fee of $250. As an AHA Member, you will receive a $50 discount on this registration. Use code AHA at checkout.
During the week, your establishment will offer a signature “Taco Week” taco and/or Margarita Madness margarita on your menu from May 31st to June 9th, 2024. These menu items will be entered into the competition.
You agree to add a $1 surcharge for every “Taco Week” taco and/or "Margarita Madness" margarita sold that will be donated back to the charities of choice in your area. The total sum of these surcharges/donations sent via email transfer to info@tacoweek.ca by June 10th, 2024.
Share the amount of Taco Week tacos and margaritas sold at the end of the week.
We ask all our registered restaurants to promote your participation on your social media and website and be sure to tag our account. We also suggest using the invite to collaborate feature for extra exposure on Instagram!
Promote Taco Week Margarita Madness with a provided marketing pack (Tent Cards/Posters) in your own establishment
AHA members receive $50 off their registration fee when using the code AHA (case sensitive) at registration. Application deadline is May 15th.
