Our Process
A clear, easy to follow and proven process is one of the most important things when taking on a new custom home or major renovation project. Our process guides you through our initial meeting, to handing the keys back over and beyond. We realize it takes a lot of trust and faith to get started, and we hope by mapping out the steps that we’ll guide you on will provide reassurance, and allow you to feel the excitement about your home & future.
In-Home Consultation
The best way to understand the vision you have for your new space is for us to come to you. Let’s talk about the next exciting phase, and come to a mutual understanding of your expectations, and the investment needed to bring your vision to life.
Proposal
The next step is pretty simple. We’ll come back to you for a second meeting and present a realistic proposal based on your wants, needs and the budget we discussed in our initial meeting.
Pre-Construction
Once those details have been agreed upon, the real fun begins. A pre-construction contract will be signed, and we will work together to select the proper architect and designer for your new space and material slections.
Sign Off
After final design and materials are set, we’ll present you an overview of the entire project. All that’s left to do is sign the construction contract and provide us with a 20% deposit.
Please note: there is a two-year warranty on all materials and completed work.
Construction
Just before the first hammer is swung, we’ll provide you a construction timeline. It will outline week-by-week deadlines, as well as an expected completion date. If any unforeseen circumstances come up during construction, we’ll stop all work and consult with you immediately before moving forward.
Final
It doesn’t get much more final than welcoming you back into your new home, which will have been professionally cleaned and ready to start making memories in.
The Alberta Hospitality Association provides a collective voice for our industry.
